Introducing the 2016-2023 Tacoma high clearance rear bumper. During design DRT Fabrication wanted to ensure that their bumper actually increased the departure angle as much as possible. The rear portion of the bumper offers more clearance than any bumper on the market with an overall height of about 4.5″ and is tucked as close to the tail gate as possible while still allowing protection for the bed.
Two mounting locations for Baja designs S2 flush mounts are recessed into the face of the bumper to maintain a sleek yet aggressive and functional look with CNC machined bezels.
The bumper is primarily 3/16 USA made high strength steel with 3/8″ thick frame mounts with recovery points integrated into the frame plates. This ties the D rings directly into the chassis providing a great recovery point. The D ring portion of the frame plates have 1/4″ steel welded on both sides creating a 7/8″ thick recovery point intended to be used with 3/4″ shackles with a 7/8 pin.
The license area plate is gusseted to add rigidity for the laser cut hitch tube. The hitch tube is also supported by two 1.5″ x .120 tubing that tie directly into the 3/8 frame plates. The hitch is not rated for towing. There are chain attachment points. Any towing is done at the discretion of the end user.
The trailer plug harness is relocated behind the bumper and out of harms way.
The high clearance sides are gusseted directly to the frame plate and have an additional 3/16 frame gusset that bolts directly to the frame to prevent damage/deflection on hard impacts.
A flip up license plate bracket is included. The hinge will hold itself in the open & closed position. License plate lights are also included.

- Bumper does not support BSM systems. This can be turned off within the truck.
- Back up sensors can be added at your discretion by drilling holes through the bumper.
- Does not work with factory hitch or spare tire.
- Factory license plate lights will not work but new led lights are provided. Minor wiring and splicing is required.

- Cutting the bed sides is required for install.
- Weighs only 120lbs.
- Hitch receiver is 8 1/4″ higher than factory.
- 6 1/2″ ground clearance gained over stock.
- Bumpers only come RAW. Powder coat is not an option.
- Swings outs are available separately. The swing outs bolt on with 10 3/8 grade 8 bolts so you can add a swing out later if you change your mind or just want to space out the cost.

We are not able to manage the stock in our warehouse or factory. This means that the actual stock could alter at any time. It is possible that you will not receive your order after it's been placed.
Our policy is valid for a period of 30 days. Unfortunately, if 30 days have passed since you purchased your item, we will not be able to provide a refund or exchange.
For your item to be returned the item must not be opened and in the condition you received it in. It should also be in its original packaging.
